Dennis Wood of Fort Smith make fantastic custom cases and they're affordable.
I have 2 large ones and couldn't be happier.
He doesn't have a website or such but can be found on FB.

I haven't seen anything here except Batman and Fast N Furious. Nice haul.

I recently got the chance to stop in at Fast Lane Classic Cars in St. Charles, MO. Where, besides all the amazing cars they have for sale, they have a nice selection of diecast for sale in the gift shop.

Here's their main selection of HWs they have.

Sadly, I didn't have the time to go through them at all. And they have even more in storage according to the fellow I spoke to in the gift shop.

    But, I did find this.

I've been wanting one of the old Johnny Lightning Mach 5s for a while now. I also hoped that maybe they would've had Racer X's Shooting Star, but no luck.

Still, pretty happy about the Mach 5.

I'll post some pics of the diecast they had on display and for sale later.

I have the complete anniversary set if you are interested? If I can figure out what box they are in I will get you some pictures.

Nothing good found at the stores lately, mainly because they're not getting any inventory, but someone I trade with pretty frequently sent me this gem as a gift:

For reference it has no tampos, which I really like a lot.
I've got a lot less horsepower - luckily they are Japanese horses - usually in better shape and more motivated.

I stopped into Walmart tonight to grab some household crap and took my usual gander of the toy section. Ended up leaving with just shy of two sets of Race Day cars and a couple of mainline cars.

I also found the Race Day sets finally!

And thanks to a great trade I have a tampoless Blue to match my tampoless Red:
