Roadster shifter trim and Roadster rear badge. Most probably not going to run the rear badge, but it's nice. The trim is amazing, and in great condition! Never thought it would be so impressive in person!

Got my mazdaspeed wing back from paint today and reassembled it with all new stainless hardware! Unfortunately my stock trunk has too many mounting holes under the stock msm spoiler, and the factorybwingbhas rubbed the paint a bit underneath around the rear edge, so I can't install it on the current trunk.

Considering my options going forward... find a shinsen edition or se trunk in the same color without a spoiler and use that (damn near impossible, I welcome any leads), or buy a random spoilerless trunk and have it color matched, OR get a carbon fiber trunk from carbonmiata and use that (leaning towards this option, do we get a forum discount?)

I bought a pair of MSM seats from Scratch N Sniff.

I am restoring them to gift to close friend who is getting back into Miatas after a long absence. I think they are looking pretty good!

I got them home and started cleaning and restoring them. Some close ups:

After a couple of intense cleanings, I fixed the top stitching that had worn off.

Then I re-dyed the sun-faded existing top stiching:

After that I refreshed the seat color, wear spots. I conditioned the leather, added some UV and wear protection. I think I have about 12 hours into them, I think they turned out great!

I love mine too. I’ve been meaning to pull mine and do a similar restoration, maybe over the winter. The car these are going into is being painted red, so the red top stitching will pop nicely. I’m delivering them tomorrow while he’s away at Petite LeMans, he’s going to be shocked. He’s been hassling me to sell him mine, so I have been watching for a set like this for a while.
