    "light painting" would be the term for it. If you look it up on youtube, there will be tutorials on how to do it. You kind of just have to do a few to get the hang of it. Let me know if you have specific questions and I can try to help out.

    And it's so much fun! This was my first attempt at it back in late 2015 with a single light pass, haven't had much of a chance to try it again but hopefully that'll change soon. Smaeda does it a lot better, that's for sure!

    I've got a lot less horsepower - luckily they are Japanese horses - usually in better shape and more motivated.

    Shooting a white car has been a struggle for me, but I feel like I'm finally getting it right. Having details AND highlights in the car while also having a well exposed background is not something the sensor really seems able to do. Exposure compensation or just plain manual shooting is required.



    Pretty happy with these.



    And then my daughter came along and shot this one. She's 5. Her camera is 10. Clearly I've been overthinking this whole white car stuff.
