I aim for Supermiata's recommended dual-duty alignment numbers. Unfortunately I can't get there without extended lower ball joints. Mine have been replaced, but for some reason I didn't get the extended joints. I'll have to revisit that at some point.

Before the new ride height, if I remember correctly I was at -1.8 camber front and rear, +3.5 caster and 1/8" rear toe. I haven't gotten an alignment in a while, but I'm expecting to get closer to the -2.0-2.5 mark for camber. If I can't get there, I'll have to go with extended ball joints.

Currently on 550/350 Hyperco springs, but I picked up a 700/400 set a few weeks ago which will hopefully get installed this summer.

Couple of weeks ago I found some time to do something I've been meaning to do for a while - cut my rear bumper. I chose something different than the standard "between the exhaust tips" cut line. I was never a huge fan of that cut, although it looks cool when looking straight from behind.

I feel the end result I got here is more to my taste, and fits the car well.

Apart from cutting the actual bumper cover, the bumper support needs to be cut, as well as the inner sheet metal mud guards behind the wheels. I may end up covering up the area under the bumper, for a result similar to the Garage Vary Type-N bumper -- minus the fins.

    Anyway.

Really like this cut surprisingly! Not normally a fan of bumper cuts, did you cut it straight of is there a gradual taper on the sides? It works really well if there is

There's a small taper. Across the back it's 15cm below the body line, which tapers down to 17cm on the sides.

You're inspiring. Although I've had this idea in mind for a while, your NB bumper was the final push I needed to go through with it. Thanks mate.

There's Miata Reunion in October if anything. I'll try to do another HPDE event at CMP in the fall too.

The way things are going, I won't hold my breath for Miata Reunion or any big events. We would still have to keep our distances. Unless the cap the attendance at like 200. But I will make my way down to Charlotte one day and check it out.

Yeah, good chance it'll not happen unfortunately. HPDE should be good to go though, track days aren't much of a social event.
