    revlimiter Wheel Center Cap Inserts

    revlimiter Wheel Center Cap Inserts

    • Custom made inserts to fit the center caps on your wheels.
    • Plastic center caps are NOT included. You need to source your own.
    • Composed of vinyl and solar-cell quality polyurethane epoxy.
    • Any design is possible. Restoration projects are my favorite.
    • You get a minimum of four (4) inserts. I make a batch of eight (8) and you get all of the good ones.

Prices start at $79 USD + shipping for a set of the inserts. If you want a custom design or something that you don't see somewhere in the store (like on the keychain or badge page), you'll have to pay for the design time as well.

Go to the store to order yours!

    Samples

I've made a couple dozen sets of these cap inserts over the years. They've been sort of a hidden menu item in my store. In the past the labor was just too high and I had to charge much more than the price above. It wasn't realistic to me to put it in the store. But the new vinyl printer and better epoxy lets me finally offer these to everyone!

Oh Adam. IIRC you are doing gold foil with black backgrounds. I'll have to get the sizes tomorrow. Raining here now, finally! But would be for Konig Dial-in centers.

    Thanks for your work!

Would be for the retro M, or Warbird, depending on how you parked.

I have had mine, one of the first sets of his epoxy inserts i believe, since April of 2014 and they still are holding up great!

I don't have any recent close ups unfortunately but the only difference is the white isn't that super bleach white but more of a nice.....petina....kind of like aged paper. Trying to find the correct term is difficult but i much prefer how they look now if that makes sense.

I have been meaning to get a new set made since i gave Adam the wrong size but since I may be getting different wheels in the next 6 months to a year I MAY hold off.

I wasn't going after your "Warbird" winged ones. Just the Retro M that you had reversed for some of your items. If the wheel stopped with them upside-down....

I know Rick. Adam won't reproduce custom orders without the approval of the original customer. In fact someone wanted to do a similar design to the Warbird emblem and Adam checked with me first. Adam REALLY cares about 'intellectual property' and that's just another great thing about dealing with him.

He is the poster-child of customer-centric! <SIC> That is why I love the guy. Hopefully, soon, I will order the gauges for the next build that will be the M2-1006 build with a twist. Ahh to be fall and sell an LL Bean Outback for a clean-title NA.

er... it's tomorrow! And I think you're asking for the Prototipo design.

No idea on the size of any given wheel center. Each customer will have to measure for each order.

Yours was one of my first epoxy ANYTHING orders. I made up an extra one and threw it on some scrap metal and planted it in my garden. It's been under dirt and watered daily for 2 years. It hasn't weathered as nicely as yours. ha!

It actually depends on the nature of the custom order. If someone ordered a green Elanore badge... I'd never think twice about making 400 copies of that order. It's just a recolor. And if it is a really popular recolor, it'll become a regular option in the store.

If someone ordered a Datsun badge... yeah, I'd reproduce that 872 times as well. It's not special. Just a stock logo.

But when someone orders a custom logo and names their car after it. THAT. That's something special. Or a custom gauge set with a page of back story and a family crest logo on the tach.... Yeah. Those are the special orders that I won't just reproduce without asking. Often I won't even ask about reproducing those. They're TOO special to ever bother the customer about.

I got to do another set of restoration center cap inserts a few weeks ago. These are for the classic SSR MK3 wheels on MR's own PhatMiata!

I made up two different colorways for this order - pearl white with chrome and black highlights, and solid chrome foil with black highlights. Hard to photograph (white and chrome on a white background?) but beautiful.

Since I had them on hand, I thought I'd do a comparison shot between my center caps and the cheap ebay ones. You can see the differences for yourself. The ebay ones look pretty rough, are on "silver" finish vinyl and aren't even the right size for the caps. Mine are precisely sized, made to order, have extremely fine detail, and are coated in a protective epoxy jewel dome.

Ready for years of service. Thanks for letting me sticker up your wheels Randy!

Blue and gold custom cap insert set for some Works Vs wheels. It's pretty similar to the original Vs caps, but with a few small modifications done at the customer's request (thanks Sean!)

I wish I could find some flat caps for my RPFs.

What size? 15"? I make a center cap for these but it's not flat.

I don't think you can use flat caps in the rear because the axle stud may protrude too far. If you check on that, I might be able to adapt my current design for you.
