Installing NB suspension into NA?
Hi MR,
I recall reading somewhere that if one were to install OEM NB shocks and springs directly into an NA, it will raise the car. Is this true?
I got a set of bilsteins and springs from a 10AE, and was thinking of installing into an NA. But if it'll raise the car, I'm going to have to reconsider...

I believe that this applies only when you install NB springs with NA top mounts, due to the difference in spring seat height between NA/NB mounts. It should not be an issue when swapping the complete assembly, but then I have not tried it myself.

I installed 10AE springs / shocks / top hats on my 91 BRG and it did raise the car a bit.

Curious of the affect on 1.8 NAs. I know they sit higher on stock suspension than their older 1.6 siblings.
