Props man. One thing that always made me nervous was how delicate the printed surface was on the Gen2 gauges. It would seem these new Gen3 gauges shouldn't have any problems with fingerprints and the like.

What about needle stops? Does installation still require removal of your existing needle stops and super glueing them onto the new gauge faces? How many times can you do this before the needle stops are worn out and looking haggard? I'm thinking about updating my Gen2 M2-1028 style gauges to a new Gen3 style.

Hmm, maybe you have older gauges than mine, none of mine had to be glued. You just pushed them from behind and they clicked in place

    awesome work Adam!

Will a similar sort of update be seen on the HVAC panels for the NA? or are they staying put for now?

Adam is the best when it comes to his relentless pursuit of perfection for product quality and as many of you know first hand, has an unrivaled approach to customer service.

When I'd heard Gen3 gauges were on the horizon I knew I'd have to wait a little while longer to swap gauges in the BRG. My set of Gen3 Fighter gauges arrived and are in. What can I say. They are exceptional. The detail in real life has an even bigger impact than the pictures show. Since my potato (and its operator) take terrible pictures I won't blemish this post with my jpg's but will post em up in my build(s) thread.

RevLimiter knocks it out of the park. Again.

Here's this morning's batch! Got my first Gen3 NB gauge photos up.

    Sunstorm NB
Because yellow tachs aren't just for Italian cars. And asymmetry is beautiful.

Here's the new indicator lights in action. They're black when off and nicely bright when lit.

The NB cluster has such fantastic even lighting. So pretty when lit. Wish the NA was so even...

    Revolver NA
One of the original three sets I designed when I started my store.

    Spyder NA
My first attempt at designing white gauges.

I've redesigned this set three times. This is the latest version. It has a better redline style and outer scale.

It really depends on the gauge design. Most of my gauges do not allow the beam indicator to stay on the tach face since the corner indicator mod makes that unnecessary. But if the design allows room for the huge high beam silo without covering any numbers or scale, then yes.

It's been about 3 years since I forced customers to glue a needle stop onto their gauge face. The "new" dials have a precision cut hole in the face to allow you to poke the stopper through. That's been the norm since around 2014 when a local shop started carrying the gauges.

As for fingerprints, gloves still need to be worn with the new dials when installing. Greasy prints on them will still show and it's still hard to clean grease off. But unlike the previous ones, these CAN be cleaned.

Yup. The last few thousand customers got those too. Much easier to install and far less destroyed gauges from glue incidents.

NA HVAC panels are indeed being upgraded. I've got a few Gen3 ones in hand now. I'm not sure if I'll take pix of the new ones since HVAC panel photos are ridiculously difficult to take... But yeah, they'll all be Gen3 ones once I blow out some of my Gen2 stock in an upcoming sale.

It would be cool to have GEN 3 NB HVAC matching gauges.

Please make a set of the Stirling Gauges for NC, i can be the first order today if available.

Wow! Just wow. Yeah, it's time to get serious about my custom set for sure.
I've got a lot less horsepower - luckily they are Japanese horses - usually in better shape and more motivated.

... it takes forever to photograph the gauges, process the pix, and update each store page. ugh.

    5 more sets today.

    Delta NA

    Warbird NB

    JNC NB

    Zen NB

More updated pix and store pages, including my first NEW Gen3 product. The color richness and saturation allows me to make a very-close LE red. So...

    Spyder LE

    other updated artwork includes...

    FC NA

    Circuit NA

    Rossa NA

    Fighter NA

    Revolver NB

    More tomorrow!
