Grendel moves into the light. Slower than Noir!

Dammit Alex! I have two builds now. What was our original chat that got the MR World stirred up? Don't build it too fast? Hey, just build more. I'll send you fund for coffee beans!

( I will warn the purist to cover their eyes. )

I have acquired a '90 NA6. That has a 1.8 swap, Flying Miata turbo parts and is clean titled. The body is not, um, clean. But we will get to that.

    The intro needs pics.

Yes. That is Grendel! Chad's car. Life, injury and new horizons moved his to mine. Look for his holsters and book soon.

    Peace Nutz!
    ... Rick

Let's say it has potential. Will you be swapping parts over to noir or will this be a completely different build?

Just plural, no need to get out of control . I used to use Miatae but Rick has brought me around to his Miaiti.

Just checking, you've got 3 and I'd like( Wishing, wishing) to have 1 of each generation and a Mazdaspeed, so what number is out of control, 5, 6 or more ? Just call me Jay Leno Jr.

Some have noted that I started with a 90 and then added a 91 and 92. That only leaves five more years (assuming one per year was enough, perhaps all LE's) + the three M2 editions (four if you include the 1006) to complete the NA generation. Perhaps SoCal needs its own Miataland?

Trying to stay away from NB's, NC's and ND's for now.

Ok, Thanks to all you Nutz! And I don't mind chatter on a build thread. We're here to talk. Just keep it relivent. And my fellow nutz that sounded off have!

Jamie, Yes the turbo 1.8 and electronics are going in Noir. Grendel, the '90, will get Noir's 1.8. But she already has been swapped. So all the adapters, fittings and sensors are there. (Fingers-crossed). Might need some dyno shop queing.

Rene. Chad fell to the back health curse not long before Palooza. I knew his mission to restore Grendel. He decided that the back, family and new business ventures were enough to part with Her (still, why is Grendel a her?).

To the rest of you Nutz. 1 = Miata. 2 = Miati exp. ' I hopped in my Miata and tied off a "Great" road trip through curves with Miati !'

    Peace you weirdos!

I want to keep Grendel and Noir's builds separate. But there will be some exchange. Both are on pause until i have a game plan with this, Grendel, included.

    A dry-erase board is needed!

But the first objective is to fix and release the L.L. to the world of Subie-lovers. Or give up my '95 'Prez and the Big-subie as a package deal. I don't want to give up my lil one.

    Life, money and priorities...

    Peace Gang!
