Anyone want to help me price my 00' SE?

I'm going to sell my 00'se, it's just taking up too much space and forcing me to street park both of our daily drivers while the miatas take up the driveway.

    Here's the craigslist add
    https://baltimore.craigslist.org/cto...417627531.html

I know winter isn't the best time to list a miata for sale in the mid Atlantic ... so I don't expect that I'll actually make a sale for a good price until springtime, but I'd like some input in any case.

Fair price. About where I would expect to see it priced. As you say, the location will drag it out.

It'll probably still be here unless someone gives me asking price

I would list it with better pictures. People that know these cars and are willing to pay that won’t want to see snow on it, or near it. Perception of a meticulously kept version should be your priority.

That’s a great point kfj. I’m from Florida but when I see snow on a car all I think of is rust.

Key point on the rust perception.

I-95 makes it really easy for Mid-Atlantic shoppers to think they can find a cleaner car just a few hours down the freeway (NC, SC, etc.), and what popped into my mind were the cars I looked at here in Atlanta for $7k and under.

Convenience is important for your market though, so perception is super relevant for you.

Just as an experienced Miata owner, I passed on any car that was registered north of NC.

Many times sports cars found up north are the best finds.

Sports cars are usually 2nd or 3rd cars that do not need to be driven in the winter.
    The miles are generally low.
The interiors, rubber bits, and paint are typically in better condition than down south.
The only caveat is that an inspection or good photographs of the under-carriage should be viewed before purchase to make sure it falls into that category.

Now, regular cars from up north should be totally avoided.
Very rarely is it not driven in winter unless it was Grandma's car.

Yeah, it's a half assed attempt because it isn't even spring yet. Surprisingly I have a guy coming to see it this week
