Yes hermano. Don't know if you remember from your visit but that dock is usually 2-3ft above the water. Looks like the water on the left side of the dam is going to be equal in height to the right side soon.

Well, this is it for me. Power cut out a minute ago so I'm on 30 minutes battery backup for my router and cable box. Storm is about to hit Ft. Meyers now and then us about an hour later before moving on to knock Phatmiata around (Tampa).

Once the eye passes us, as if that isn't bad enough, then we have to get ready for the storm surge which is what really worries me. I'm going to shut stuff off to conserve battery power but will turn on to check in from time to time.

Good luck all. Stay safe and see you on the other side!

If they lost power may be a while until we hear anything. Corey may let us know since he is in the 911 center and may have emergency power.

Safe and sound. It shifted East and didn't hit us directly and it downgraded to a 2.

I'm released from work. On my way home to check things and sleep before going back to work tonight.

Glad you are safe and sound, and that it was not a direct hit. Have you heard from Randy or anyone else on MR? How bad are the power outages? Let us know how it is when you get home when you can, hope everything is OK there.

Corey / Corifto posted on his IRMA SitRep thread that he was safe and sound, had been released from the 911 center, and was going home to check on things.

I haven't heard from anyone else. 5 million people are without power across the state.
