video REV9 ND RF Demo Car Review - GQM

What is up guys? Recently, Maxime, owner of REV9 Autosport stopped by my garage at the very beginning of his 10th anniversary Road(ster) trip across America. In the process we had a local car meet and I did a review of his ND Miata RF Shop Car. Check out the video below and for videos on my Turbo NA / ITB NB, as well as my other non-Miata project cars, be sure to subscribe my channel: Garage Quinn Motors

My question is if the little amount of wind noise was because of the RF or are the soft top NDs also quiet?

I had a second mic mounted on the rear bumper to pickup the exhaust, so the wind noise you are hearing is from that. Not the cabin.

Ok. I know you mentioned driving a grand touring one. What was the difference in noise between the 2? Just curious. Great review by the way and I am super jealous of your garage.

Thanks man. Both cars were very comparable except, the GT I drove was an open diff and the Rev9 one had a factory LSD. The suspension mods on the RF with LSD made for a much more enjoyable ride in terms of dynamics. Both cars were good. If I was going to daily one, I'd probably go with the RF, otherwise I would probably take the weight savings of a non-RF if I were going to build one.
