    If this were a member’s car, I’d shut up out of respect but since this is an unkown’s reprint, I’d have to say that I’m okay with some of the criticisms here. A proper 302 would be fine but any 500hp+, LS3 (crate motor) would be better.

    Plus, the front wheels sticking out so far (2”?) compared to the rear seems like this would be one squirrelly, dangerous car to steer, not to mention a total conflict for the steering geometry and longevity of the bearings.

    To me, it looks like a bad wheel-offset choice and now time to just ditch this project rather than fix it.

    Not as far as I know. I think of them as a very vague interpretation of the SSR XR4.
