Day Mode
I've been big into watches for a couple years now. It's finally spilled directly into my gauges. This set is inspired by a handful of vintage watches, one of which went to the moon.
These gauges have a honeycomb texture on the face and a clearcoat spray over the white scale marks and redzone. It gives a lot of depth to the otherwise flat dial.
The honeycomb is quite subtle. The gauges look dark grey in normal driving. But when the sun hits them, you see the texture and and clearcoat and they just pop like crazy.
Night Mode
Look carefully at the outer scale ring - the black scale marks light up! No ghosting effect. This set uses translucent black on that outer ring. These shots are with white/clear lighting and white LEDs.
