The OEM Recaros are one of those items I REALLY want to hunt down for that completely OEM+ theme, but I have a feeling the cost and time just won't even be reasonably worth it.

Gorgeous seats!! The same set that went in the Spirit R FD Man I'd love to test one of those, I'd probably wreck it though

I've seen some for sale in some places, namely eBay and Yahoo Auctions; someone is currently hoping for around $1100~ for ONE black recaro at least it comes with the right rails....

Honestly, at that price, I'd have some Nakamae seats made

Looks like it sold for £10,995.00

I think the rear has had some work done since I see what "looks to be" fresh black paint on the rear A-arms

But the seats looks good, i still need to get mine a refreshing. (too many projects, too little money)

This is one of only 500 made and is an extremely sort after and collectable Eunos Roadster. I bought this car from the very reputable MX5 Restorer Company last year, who imported the RS from Japan in May 2017.
I have a copy of the Export Certificate and De – registration document and as a fresh import there is NO RUST. The car has had a full under – seal and cavity wax – including sub frames and suspension arms by the MX5 Restorer who also fitted a Thatcham immobiliser.
Since coming from Japan the car has had the following work completed by the MX5 Restorer
    • A Full respray – as often happens there was some sun damage to some panels so the car had a full respray in Montego Blue which involved removing the lights, Front screen, bumpers, mirrors etc and at the same time the driver’s seat was retrimmed
    • Full engine service including a new cambelt cambelt
    • Suspension and underside cleaned including a full under – seal and cavity wax program
    • New Vinyl soft top with zip out rear panel

The features of the RS model are as follows
    • Recaro carbon Kevlar bucket seats
    • Bilstein suspension (replaced with superior adjustable Koni Shocks) • Lightened weight flywheel
    • 15 BBS alloy wheels
    • Lowered final drive ratio
    • Torsen limited slip differential
    • Nardi steering wheel and gear knob
    • Rare side skirts
    • Front bumper lip spoiler
    • Yellow front strut brace
    • Extra chassis bracing
    • Electric Mirrors
    • Colour coded Hardtop

This is a rare opportunity to own a low mileage sort after MX5 with all the correct parts. Because of the drop-in value of the £ against other currencies very few RS models are being brought into the country at this time. Comes with a full MOT till October 2018 with no advisories.

yeah, if I would quit buying stuff from Japan I would probably have a turbo already right? I had to wait a LONG TIME to get these Recaro seats, not sure I am ready to part with them yet. I know they won't match my 93LE build but I will put them in there just for seat time in them, they feel great in the garage but need to put them in the car and have some fun in them.

    Here's another down in Oz.

Been on the market for a few months so price is unrealistic at $19,900

Jeez, optimism at its best, at that price I expect 1000 miles on the clock, not 50k

Anything in the UK will be far too inflated, all the roads have salt on them, no MX5 is gonna be rust free without heavy investment.... Mine is a one of the cleaner examples, but there's still rust on the exterior rear sills...

No idea if the roads are salted in Australia

No salt on our roads - we don’t know what snow is and only get ice in our drinks or the fridge.

The UK also seems to have very low second hand car prices compared to what any equivalent car would cost over here. And our currency isn’t too strong.

I know with some cars there's a massive difference in price, RX8's fetch for crazy money down there, one with a low mileage (30,000~) can be picked up for around £2k, less if the owner lacks any knowledge....

I got my stock 1990 1.6 that had just ticked passed 60k on the clock for £1600, reasonably clean example too
