    FNG from the Bay Area

    Hi all,
I picked up my first Miata (NB) over 4th of July weekend, pulled it out of the bushes where it had languished for 5 or so years. Had it running in a week and it's been my DD ever since.
I've had Triumphs and MGs in my younger years so it's wonderful to be back in a roadster, and even better when it starts every time and doesn't leak oil all over my drive. Having a blast driving it around!

Welcome. MR is the best forum for Roadster enthusiasts. There are a few MR members in the Bay Area.

That's a great looking NB, great to hear you're giving it the care it deserved.

Plans? Make it go faster around corners.

I added a Hard Dog M2 and Door Bars a couple weeks ago, makes a HUGE difference on stiffness.
Took it out on a run with some other local Roadsters and tore up the curves last weekend...

I also picked up a nice OEM Silver Hardtop for it since the soft top was toast...

All things considered, I'm LOVING my roadster!

It was my neighbors DD when she was married to the now EX-husband...husband was purged, car was parked. I've been eyeing it for a few years, she was talking about getting it going, and then talking about selling it for parts. I have two boys coming up on driving age, figured they needed to learn to drive with a stick...now it's my DD!
