I’m looking forward to this event! If anyone has any questions I’d also be happy to answer them! I’ve been running with Jzilla for YEARS!

Here are some photos from past Jzilla events that I've taken! Come out to the event and I'll try and get some awesome photos of your car for you!

We have KMiata, Exocet, Keisler on board. R-Speed of course, too . V8Roadsters has also expressed interest, among others. It will be cool to see them showcase and demonstrate some gear!

If tsingson makes it then I will be tagging along too. It's just quite a drive to make in a semi-prepped Miata with no AC in the summertime from the Piedmont of NC.

If you're already in the Deal's Gap area, it's a lovely drive.

Unfortunately it's over a 6 hr drive from where we're at. It's a fair bit removed from the Gap, which I think is 2.5 hr away.

I reached out to AJ Schramm with a couple of questions about my rollbar and being ok for the event but I haven't heard back yet. Is this geared more towards beginners and instruction? This will be possibly my first event and not sure how this will go with all the information being thrown at me.

Steven, Sigma lives right next door.

    Neighbors love us.

We are gearing it towards everyone, but we have instructors especially for novices.

The neat thing about an HPDE with so many Miatas, is you can get a chance to see and feel what different Miata configurations can do. If you see someone with a mod(s) you are considering, chat them up, ride with them in their car, get a feel for it, get real feedback.

    What are your rollbar questions?

I read on Bethania's website that the M2 Sport meets SCCA Time Trial and Solo safety requirements when equipped with diagonal bracing. I don't have those. Will this be ok for this event? And as far as the "broomstick" test. I am not sure that I do fit under with the helmet.

You have the Harddog sport without diagonals?

4 point with no diagonals is fine!

Broomstick is really only a concern for us with fixed seat/harness cars.

Sweet! I have a soft top now but would more than likely run the hardtop down there.

Yeah! Try it either way! I'm so used to a hardtop at the track, I forget what its like to track a Miata topless. The wind buffeting the helmet really brings that sensation of speed home.
