    The M-Sky - Mazda Roadster

I haven't heard about this car in quite a while and don't remember seeing a thread here about it, so I wanted to share a bit. The M-Sky was a limited run of 30 1999 RS package roadsters sold by South Tokyo Efini Mazda (Kanto Mazda), who collaborated with aftermarket tuners. The name goes Minami-Tokyo, Saito Shinsuke (motor journalist), K.G. Works and Yours Sports. It featured:

Yours Sports alignment and 25 click adjustable shocks with Tein springs
    Larger front sway bar
Reinforced front and rear arm bushings
    Aftermarket brake pads
    Carbing 3 point front STB
    Carbing rear STB
    Saito 4 point roll bar

    K.G. Works blacked out headlights - http://www.kgworks.co.jp/4-b-34.htm

K.G. Works "suede coated" gauge hood and center panel - http://www.kgworks.co.jp/4-b-37.htm
K.G. Works metal shift ring and short shifter - http://www.kgworks.co.jp/4-b-35.htm
K.G. Works leather door handle wrap - http://www.kgworks.co.jp/4-b-36.htm
Polished metal gauge rings (K.G. works as well I presume)
Original seat(s) and bracket(s) (look like Mazdaspeed sport seat to me, unsure if there was two buckets in the final production)

I don't think the tow hook made it to production, like the wheels, which were left as OEM from what I understand? You might also notice there wasn't any engine mods; this was designed as a circuit use car and power was not a priority in development. I can also tell you there was an M-Sky sticker on the front STB and headlights, not sure where else they were placed, for identification by us aftermarket parts hunters.

    Awesome!!!

"Thanks Given" For your write up!

I've never heard of this version!! Thanks for the great photos too!! There was quite a few (Japan Only) NRA, Track Made, and Limited & Special Edition NB Roadsters in Japan but I am kinda lacking in the ways of NB.

You and I both. Sometimes people ask me questions about NB's and I just have to reply...that's not really my thing.
