    Hello from Germany

Hi, my name is Christian, 29 and I´m from Germany, geographically pretty centered there.

I already saw some great cars at mazdaroadster. Nice stuff.

From 2008-2012 I drove a ´99 1.6 NB in classic red as DD around 140k km.
Added some mild modifications, exhaust, coilovers and TR lane bar, Laile brace...

Met many people at meetings and made good friends. Since 2012 a Alfa Romeo 156 is my DD.
During the last years I never forgot the MX and my desire for an NA grew...

In April ´17 I found an NA and I knew I had to have him (after several disappointing NA-visits).
It was an ordinary evening, browsing the web for suitable cars. There it was - a Laguna blue 1.8 S-Special. Bad thing, the car was situated in GB - I thought for a moment and wrote a message to the seller. I couldn´t sleep all night...

After several messages, calls and visits because of the short-term admission to drive the car from the UK to Germany, we (my dad and I) booked a flight to London. From there we took 3 hours by train and bought the car. Then drove 300 km to Dover and slept there.
The next day we took the ferry and drove another 700 km at home.
It was great and I couldn´t believe it.

At home I took care of the approval for legal road driving the car and did a lot of maintenance work. The Enkei wheels were installed.
The last months of the season I enjoyed the car and visited some meetings.

Until March he is in the garage...
There are plans for the future. In the last months I collected different parts.

That´s all from me. I hope to have a nice time here.

    Christian

Welcome to the forum, good place to learn stuff or get help from folks. love the Laguna Blue and sounds like you did something similar to me when I went to buy The Rooster, I flew from Nashville to FT. Worth/ Dallas and drove over 700 miles (1138 km) back home. But not as nice a drive as you had of course UK to Germany - how cool is that.

Welcome Christian! I see tour new NA has right-hand steering. Is this something common in Germany?

    @ TNRooster3

    Thank you
It was a really nice drive and I would love to make this again.
There is a special feeling in this adventure. 2 days and 5 countries, UK-France-Belgium-Netherlands and Germany.
Your drive sounds nice, too. Would love to drive in a Miata through your country.

    Thank you!
There aren´t many Eunos cars here in Germany. Right hand steering isn´t something common here but over the last years there are many rhd cars like Skyline and Supra.
