The trunk seal stuffing worked! Also sealed the seams at the rear (actually in front of you when you open it) on both sides of the latch, inboard of the taillights. The plumped seal makes the trunk close with an oddly satisfying thump.

Car died in the mountains last Friday night. Got it towed home. Some electrical diagnostics confirmed a dead fuel pump. I KNEW I should have replaced it when I did the carpet!
I also replaced the FP relay, 'cuz I learned my lesson with that fucker on my NA.
Anyways, Relay and FP arrived, installed them today. Success!
Now I have a known working FP relay to store with my other spares in the trunk toolkit.
Ran out during lunch to pick up a new regulator:

Spot the difference?

That white plastic wheel...

exploded on the old one.
Ordered new window bushings because mine are apparently non-existent.

I need to get in and tighten my window down. Getting a slight rattle.
Heres what was left of both window bushings:

I have the delrin bushings I bought from you before. Not sure if that is what you mean. Mine rattles with the door slam also.
Hmm, I dont remember that.
Are the windows sitting proud when rolled up (too high)?
Yeah. It all looks good. I think I had removed the glass when I was doing something in there and I didn't fully tighten everything.
Bust out a 10 & 12mm socket, a few zip ties, have a ball.
Its my next project as I knocked out the Expedition's plugs.
Post less, wrench more. ;)

Long overdue update, finally managed to find some time to install some parts I have gathered. Crappy photo of outcome:
Details on my build thread!
