Lightbulb Tech: Exhaust- muffler design and sound absorption

I have been looking to do another custom exhaust and want it as deep as possible, decent amount of pops/burbles and not be too loud.

So more research, only found one really good article thus far(will add more as i find them) but thought starting a thread to consolidate such information would be useful to the community.

My idea was a custom ARTech made 2.5" exhaust with a high flow cat, dual resonators(the pipe after the cat would split and go to two different pipes and a resonator one each one offset to each other, space permitting, like these https://m.ebay.com/itm/2-5-x-12-OAL-...-/122935261411 ), two SLP loudmouth II bullet mufflers (these: https://m.ebay.com/itm/SLP-Bullet-LO...-/172447832616 ) in the rear that would go to dual tips that would be centered and high as possible on the rear bumper going thru a cutout.

Well after reading a few articles (ones above) I decided against the SLP units as mufflers as it would either be too loud or the tone would not being deep enough. So my back up idea is a Magnaflow F Body muffler, https://m.ebay.com/itm/Magnaflow-122...-/272757049176 , with probably a single resonator as the reason for the two offset resonators was due to the previous SLP 'muffler' selection.

This muffler is similar in size to what Abe aka ARTech uses as his standard muffler. Obviously he usually is building a exhaust for a turbo setup and thus ends up being quieter due to the turbo. In my case Misfire is supercharged and the exhaust will be that much louder vs the same setup on a turbo or n/a setup.

It is a fine line for sure as I want it louder than my previous ARTech exhaust, even that setup may have been loud enough(with a supercharger) but the lack of sufficient pops/burbles was disappointing(my previous setup produced pops/burbles but minimal, my current header, stock midpipe and Racing Beat muffler produces more pops/burbles). Unfortunately pops/burbles are directly connected to loudness, that is my understanding at least, short of tuning a tunable ecu to achieve.
