Garage Vary FRP fiberglass rear panel for NA, how to paint?

Today I received my Garage Vary rear panel from Rev9.

I have some questions that maybe the collective can give me some advice:
    1. Is there any special prep that is required for the FRP fiberglass? Should I assume some light scuffing, solvent clean, and primer even though it is not metal???
    2. What filler should I use for some light scratches or imperfections? BTW, hardly any imperfections unlike Carbon Miata.
    3. I will be adding some black highlights across the rear of the panel. (The reason I bought it) What prep should I do to the paint that I already laid down? Or should that be wrapped?

I have an early GV panel, but i'm pretty sure that all the GV panels stick out slightly on the passenger side rear so if you want it to sit flush. I recommend having the shop shave down the back of that area till it sits flush.

    1. Yes, light scuff, clean and some kind of adhesion promoter. Primer is easiest.
    2. Polyester filler (bondo) is best. If they're only small, use the fine fill version.
    3. Wait till the first layer has dried fully, polish but don't wax, mask, light scuff, clean, paint.

Also, I did what Willywongka stated, then glued studs onto the back of mine in the outer corners, so I could correctly adjust the fit.

I know you're asking about paint, but this may still come in handy for install.

Sand it good w/320 and K2 prime, then guide coat and wet sand 500.
Spray your white, and the fineline mask and spray your accent.
