Shift knob comparison... Anyone have 2 or more of the following?

I'm hoping that maybe someone here has already walked down this path, I'm looking for a knob for my '94, and have the following three I'd like to compare.

    1.) RSFactory Stage Jimmy
    2.) Nielex M2 1001 replica
3.) Thompson Automotive Voodoo Pistol Grip

The RS is stainless, and likely the heaviest of the three. The Nielex is probably the most expensive, second heaviest, but is brass with a chrome finish. The Voodoo Pistol is available spun, polished, and in a couple shades of black. It's also the least expensive.

In a perfect world, the M2 Aluminum brake handle, button, and knob set would be available. I'd then send everything off for black anodizing, everything would match, and I'd be happy. Alas, that's not the case. I've sourced an aluminum brake sleeve and button, and I'm trying to find an aluminum 1001 knob that won't break the bank to send for anodizing at the same time.

If anyone has pictures of these side by side, it would be much appreciated!

Oh, and happy Easter! These knobs are kind of egg-shaped, aren't they?

No stripes for me, sir! Thanks for the offer, though...

I'd consider a round ball like that if I could get it in solid black, weighted, with the correct pattern recessed in the face (Think Austin Healey). AH Shift Knob.jpg

As much as I was trying to avoid chrome... the Nielex knob and a few bits may be making their way to my car, we'll see.

Nielex chrome sphere is pretty badass too, might be worth a look. Bigger and heavier than KGs ball shifter but not too big like some others.

You really can’t go wrong with any of those but it’s nice to have a lot of options

Sometimes, a little patience is all that's needed. Lots of good parts coming my way lately, and this morning I scored a M2-1001 knob!

It looks a bit rough, but hopefully nothing a scotchbrite or some polish won't clean up. The price was right, too!
