I've been running the 949/SuperMiata endlinks with the bolt head forward for years on a 1-1/8" RB bar redrilled to make it stiffer for years without an issue. While it might change the shear on the bolt head, with the proper grade bolt it still should not be an issue.

Got to drive this thing this afternoon around the block. Definitely the lowest seating position I have ever been in for a miata. Makes my Ryoku Rob rails seem stock. And the exhaust.....Loud is such and understatement and I have been on the ground during a 747 full power run. Can't wait for Charlotte!

In addition to all the nice work and impressive back story, might I say that I do approve of your choice of beverage?
I used to work in Weihenstephan for some time (albeit not the brewery itself) which basically meant a real steady level of beer consumption Didnt know you have this in the US as well...

Great story. Your automotive journey is a fun one to read. The Z3MC is a legend and I like the way you tuned yours up. The 135is is a very nice car. My wife had a 335i that was fun but I knew it was going to bankrupt us and test our patience with repairs. But as a toy car I'm still tempted to get another as finding clean E36 and E46 is getting harder and harder.

Living in VA I wish I could have a super duper radar/laser detector/jammer. Not that I want to speed 150mph in a 55 zone. I'm getting too old for that. But I just want an extra measure of protection. My wife got two speeding tickets last week, one for 70 in a 65mph zone. What kind of crap is that? I'm with you on the auto-x. Unless you're a super competitive person, the seat time just isn't worth all day effort. It is cheap, though. I really want to sit in a car with the drop floor so I can gauge how much it will help me as I have a long torso and barely fit in my Miata, let alone with a helmet on.

I can say that I can't see the front of the hood from the seat. It is really low.
