    11K mile 1991 NA6 Drivetrain & More - SOLD!

Thinking of building an Exocet? Want to mechanically refresh an old NA6 to like-new?

Well, do I have a proposition for you.

My 1991 car is due to arrive January 18th in Daytona Beach, Florida. I'm swapping basically everything out for a new LS3 utilizing a V8Roadsters kit.

    Parts available:

    • 1.6 Big Nose Crank engine complete, ECU, radiator, etc.
    • 5-speed manual transmission, clutch, flywheel.
    • Front and rear 1.6L brakes (calipers, rotors, pads, rubber lines).
    • Complete exhaust & headers.
    • Viscous Limited Slip & Driveshafts (I need to verify this, but it's a B or C package car, so I'm fairly confident).
    • Stocks shocks, springs, maybe front swaybar.
    • Two sets of aluminum wheels & tires. 14" Daisy's with OE rubber and 15" Work Reps with new tires.

I'm probably forgetting some things. The engine should come with the front cradle, as the V8Roadsters kit replaces it. The rear driveshafts will come with hubs, as those are being replaced.

I'd like to get $1750 for the whole lot (REDUCED FROM $2500)! Need it gone.

NO SMALL INDIVIDUAL PARTS. I can't afford to have Al running around boxing and shipping things at his shop rate. It doesn't make fiscal sense.

Pickup in Daytona Beach, FL. If you want it palletized, labor will add to the cost plus shipping.

    matthew.f.lambert@gmail.com or PM me here.

Google Drive link for pictures of the car. https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...EIA1_qM1GaHxAE

    Thanks, -Matt

Seems to be more interest in individual items, so here we go:

    Complete 1.6L engine: $1250.
    Complete 5-speed transmission: $400.
    11K 1.6L VLSD: $500.
4 Daisy wheels w/ old tires, center caps, lugs (immaculate condition though, or so I'm told): $250.
    4 Work VSKF 15x7 Replica's w/ new Cooper Tires: $500.

Make offers on miscellaneous parts: brakes, shocks, etc.

I also have a 50K mile VLSD and shafts in Maine that I'd sell for $350.

Shipping not included. Will discount items if purchasing the whole lot and if you'll work with Al and I on time frame and pickup. I've compared to Treasure Coast and others and think the prices are reasonable given mileage and condition, but I'll entertain non-low ball offers.

    Thanks, -Matt

50K VLSD is a Viscous unit from my 1991 BRG that I swapped a Torsen into.

I don't know if I'm going to sell any interior stuff, unless you're referring to my old ad for the Nardi and aluminum stuff (which I still have, and will sell).

If it was for 1.8 I would have snatched it from you. And you still have the M2 handbrake and shifter?

Slight setback, car is being dropped off sometime around the 25th now.

I really do need to sit down and organize a thread with all my previous cars as an introduction and then get you guys up to speed on this. If anyone is local and serious about the engine or other pieces, I can get you contact info for Al at V8R Performance to swing by the shop.

Well ladies & gents, the car is in Daytona. Al has a few others he needs to wrap up before he begins tearing stuff out of mine... so now's as good a time as any to lock it in if you want parts for a month or so from now.

When inspecting the car, it was noted that the factory sticker is still on the muffler... clean, clean, clean. Also confirmed that this is the later big-nose crank 1.6L.

I will be looking forward to your updates and a review of V8 Roadsters workmanship. I had them quote an LFX swap prior to the last Miatapalooza and regret not going that route. I probably would have already been enjoying my car rather than figuring out how to fix the bugs from my Ecotec swap.
