Your Feedback Please - Zoom, Damd, S2 or Pitcrew.

Some advice and thoughts please from the OG on here.

I have a new purchase that has a Zoom front bumper with Garage Vary bonnet with Pitcrew rear.

My question is it needs a little paint to be mint and I am thinking of doing a bit more and replacing the Zoom front with either of these options.

    Damd -

    S2 -

    Pitcrew -

Is it worth changing the front to any of the options? If so why and do any of you have some photos of a Pitcrew rear with a Damd or S2 front?

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers

    James.

I really like the Zoom front with the rest of the car; matches really well the style of the Pitcrew rear. But if you set to swap, I would choose DAMD, Pitcrew, S2 in that order.

Keep the Zoom front - it looks great as it is.

I like it as it is.

There is something odd about the proportions of the Pit Crew front end on the MX-5 that doesn't look right.
But the Pit Crew rear end works well.

Consider spending the money on a hard top.

    Alternative suggestion, Car Service Shinkai?

It looks great now, but in my opinion while the fit and finish of the front is dead on, it doesn't go with the rear. I would change the front to the pitcrew or change the rear to something else.

To get it out of the way, Zoom Elan is one of my favorite front ends for the Roadster. With that said, I just can't stand any other option other than Pit Crew when paired with the Pit Crew rear. It's just wrong. Obviously my vote goes for the Pit Crew front.

Have to agree 100% with Roadster 7 on the PitCrew front being the best complement to the PC rear end.

Thanks all for the feedback. A bit of a mixed bag. I like the look right now but do remember this car in Japan with the full Pitcrew kit. However I have a full Pitcrew as wondering if 2 would be necessary. As the car is a late import, from a dry part of Japan it is a bit like the California or Florida cars in the USA so the shell is very clean for it's aged.

If changing to anything, go Pitcrew. Leave the bumpers off. I think it would look better without them in this case.

The Elan front "should" have lights side by side, like, well, an Elan. That said, it is a really nice looking car as-is.

Exactly how I feel on all points. Exactly.

The Zoom works well. But if not, Damd, then Pitcrew, then S2.

Matt/Adam - thanks for the feedback.

I get the idea of going full Pitcrew again and need to do some research and find more examples of DAMD fronts.

    Cheers
