Garage Star, Jass et al wiper cowl. Have one, had one, what do you think of them?

I hate making these kind of posts, but frankly you guys offer good advice from a lot of experience. I’m considering an aluminum cowl cover strictly for the aesthetic value and maybe to protect my Randall intake a bit.

What are your thoughts and experiences about installing these.

    Thanks as always

Had GarageStar's on Warbird(geez it is always a chore digging thru the build thread )and really liked it. Modified it for the cappuccino washer bottle in the cowl:

If using with a cowl induction system then you will probably need to cut holes or do louvers to allow air to the intake/filter.

I love your mod for the bottle. I think I’d steal that idea for mine to provide the flow to the intake. I see it eliminates the hood seal to use the holes for mounting. Did that create any problems for you? I’m thinking rain runoff entering the engine bay.
