    New OEM top

Finally got around to putting the new hard top on the Miata. Question is do I have it painted the same color as the car or black. Below is a picture of car with unpainted top.

    Thanks, Earl

I have always been a fan of color matched hardtops. Your color looks awesome so a color match would look great! That's my vote.

It actually looks pretty damn good with the matching side stripe!!

I like the offset of the black stripe with the black top, I say paint it black because if you ever decide to sell it you have the best resale with a black top!

I have to agree with Phat, but I think it would look great with your unique color.

This, but PZ Brilliant Black. For that absolute maximum best resale if ya decided to ever sell.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions. Top when in to the paint shop Monday. At the last possible moment I changed my mine a asked the top be painted the same color as the car. Will post pictures when I get it back.

Black will always be hotter. If keeping black then I'd paint the window frame black, tint the windows as well as paint the mirrors.

Ok, got the hardtop back from the paint shop. Think I like the color of the car better than black.

Thanks oldgrayleather. It turned out better than I thought. Wife wanted me to paint it black, but went with the gray at the last min. When I got it home I was going to take the top off, but wife wants to take it to church today before I take the top off.

Just my opinion but I think the grey choice is superb.
