Do you have a wide angle shot? What I did is I slightly tightened the passenger side (USDM) and then get the driver side to fit correctly and at the appropriate height to clear the box, and then I finished tightening the passenger side. I can get more if needed. I will say that my Mazdaspeed box is only bolted down by two bolts. Not the nut that holds it down on the outer most mounting location.

Edit: I do very ever so slightly rub on the IM when the engine load torques the engine itself too far and vibrates along the brace.

I don't own either of those parts anymore. I changed to Ohlins and the adjusting knob hit the brace, so I sold it.

Just using a stock airbox now, as I didn't like the heat soak of the metal box.

It's funny you say that. I almost sold mine. Bought some TIEN Flex with EDFC and the motors sat right under the braces like your adjustment knobs but since it's all adjusted internally. It fit and worked but boy did I not foresee that possibly being an issue like it almost was.

    MS Windblocker?

Anyone have any experience with these windblockers? It's one of the very few MS parts I've never seen for sale on YJ or elsewhere. I have the rollbar (yet to be installed) that it seems to fit onto and was wondering if it was worth tracking down?

    Sorta related,

Something very special popped up on YAJ.

Mazdaspeed Type-C kits. Very very rare stuff right here. I'm not exactly what the numbers are, but I've been told there are fewer than 10 sold. Very special.

I've heard something crazy, like 3 ever sold. That makes it one of the rarest kits for the Miata.

For some reason Bing, Google and Yahoo are not finding an assembled car pic. for me. Is there a pic. of this rare kit installed? I like the tapered in nose and sealed / smoked lights.

Might just be my connection now. I'll retry.

Curious as to what it looked like assembled, I did some googling and found these pics.

EDIT: And I see I was beaten to the punch on some of these. Didn't see that until I had posted.

I was under the impression that the Merlot one was a replica also. I remember stumbling onto pictures of it during the fiberglassing phase on minkara.

yeah merlot is a replica as well. blue, white, and silver are the only three authentic ones i know of. from my understanding, mazdaspeed sold the molds for the c spec kit to "do engineering".

Funny thing I noticed about miata guys. They don't use Jet-Hot Coatings? That puzzles me. That Mazdaspeed header would have been Jet-Hoted in a minute of me owning it. No body uses Centerforce Clutches either!
