Nope.... I still need to finish the head, but I have everything to finish it, minus lash caps. Just waiting on the spare funds to pay the machine shop. I'm also trying to decide if I want to have my red injectors sent off and flow matched or get a set of tan/purple tops and send those off.

I didn't end up buying it. He wanted too much for it.

I started my new job and just three weeks I bought another car haha. I had been wanting something with ac and a bit bigger to drive for work. I found this Panda hatch the other day for a great deal and snagged it up. It's all stock except for the wheels and eg seats. It's slow as crap but gets 35~ mpg and the AC blows cold. Pretty much exactly what I want to get me back and forth to work. And it gives me something to drive so I can take the Miata off the road to swap it.

Already have a bunch of parts haha. Oil pan on the car is dented so I got a replacement and snagged an SI cam for when I convert it over to multi port.

And I will be dropping this off as soon as Panic Motorsports will allow me. They have 3 big race weekends tying them up through Nov 5th.

Well plans changed for the head. I dropped everything off with Steve at Panic Motorsports and he informed me that the new oem springs I have are not going to cut it with the bigger cams. So bigger springs are in order. Also I have decided to splurge on a badass port job. One of their 1.9 12.5:1 motors with the same porting is making 160hp on the stock computer with a jdm intake mani so I figure I should make similar numbers with the 2.0 11.5:1 with megasquirt. Hopefully more. Looks like I'm gonna end up with a very expensive motor. Race Engineering will be doing all the head work.

    Motor update!
Finally got some significant work done. Due to my own procrastination I had to take the rods and pistons back out to check clearances on the rod bearings. The crank was hard to turn by hand, turns out one of the bearings did not get enough assembly lube and scuffed on the crank, crank was ok. The clearance on that rod was also a bit tighter than the other three so I had to take it back to the machine shop and had all four of them opened up a tad. I pretty much have everything together now and I'm just getting odds and ends together. I'm mainly waiting on GarageStar to have another run of pulleys for my throttle body to get back from Maxbore.
