Post April 2012 (Miata of the Month) Discussion Thread

April 2012 (Miata of the Month) Discussion Thread

This is the discussion thread for members that have specific questions about the Miata submissions, and or have feedback for the members about their miatas or photos. Constructive criticism and complements of photos, etc are welcome, personal attacks are not!

Please be respectful of all members and their Miatas, we all have a lot of love for our cars and tend to create our own visions of what we feel shows off our Miata the best, and everyone's tastes are different, this is not the place to judge someones tastes in car parts, or style.

Have questions on what camera setting was used, or what offset wheels etc someone is running, ask away!

Here is the place to chatter about the contest! Ask any questions you have now before we open the contest up!

So if I can just clarify the rules you can't enter photos that you have purchased from track days? Must be a picture taken from a non professional source? Or can you use a purchased photo that is no longer watermarked across the image?

If they are purchased from a track day event that is fine, we will let the watermark issue "slide" this month as most guys cannot drive and shoot a photo of themselves.

You can also crop out the watermark, which we will probably do anyhow if you win.

    Professional & Amateur photos welcome

I guess it can be sitting or parked at the track, just keep in mind that the members of this forum will be the ones voting, so I would imagine they also are looking for "action" shots, but to answer your question, I does not have to be in motion on the track, but it must be at the track!

Yessir. Hit the groove on that corner really well, too.
    Thanks for the compliment!
