    Hello from B'ham

Just found this great site. I've been driving Miatas since 2000. I bought my first NA in 2000 which was a 1991 base red model. I sold it and quickly regretted it. A few months later I had a 1991 British Racing Green SE. Sold it eight years ago and got the Miata bug again. I knew I would be back but I just didn't know when. I found a good deal on a '99 NB Touring edition that had been repainted Sapphire Blue Mica. I have spent the last few months really enjoying being back in a Miata.

Welcome to the forums. Which is your favorite (NA or NB) so far?

Nobody knows if you're coming or going.. Is your latest update what caused the site to break a couple nights ago? Too much for it to handle??

You should probably get checked about that then; just don't bring the site down with you this time

I like them both. I like the interior styling of the NB and the modest improvements. I like the retro qualities of the NA. It seems like the NAs were there to recreate the British Roadster scene and the NBs were to compete with the influx of new roadsters in the '90s. I was a hair's breath away from snagging a '95 Merlot M Edition. It was sold out from under me and I found the NB a couple of days later. I think the first month I was wondering if the NB was the right fit for me but now if I had the same choice, I would probably pick the NB.

Thanks Winlowe. I'm a misplaced Orlandoan so I guess I don't know whether I am coming or going either.
