Here's a few updated pics. New (used from a '95) fender and new LED's all around.

And the addition of an integrated rear fog light...

Nice looking ride BenBRG. I am always torn on black vs. tan tops on the BRG. I like your factory luggage rack too. I don't see many '91 LE with that option.

Really? I've been thinking about removing it once I get a re-spray. I appreciate the compliment, your 91 was one of my first inspirations when I started at miata.net.

I have always liked the Italia body kit (very well done), but come on...there's always room for two Miatas....especially a BRG!!! Do you remember the build number of your BRG?

I would have preferred to keep the BRG, but with 3 little boys needing time, attention, and money I can see my wife's side. I never took the time to find that car’s number. It had almost 200k miles and needed quite a bit of mechanical maintenance/restoration. It was one of those cars that looks okay from 15 feet away, but gets worse the closer you get.

I had a rack on my red '91, and it was a pain to wash & wax around, plus I had a trunk spoiler, which made it even more visually jumbled. I like it on your BRG, because it blends better, you don't have the spoiler, AND it compliments that "Roadster" feel that BRG's naturally evoke. All you need is a smart leather trunk strapped down to it. Yours is the only BRG that I've seen with a trunk rack.

    -Jim

P.S. If you take the rack off, you'll be left with a trunk lid, riddled with holes....ask me how I know.

Looking good Chops! I like the new wheels. The color complements the BRG nicely.

Thank you Jim. Come to think of it, it's somewhat similar to yours.

It's so funny scrolling through this thread because everytime a pic loads I get kind of giddy because in the back of my mind it's like OH HEY THERE'S MY.. oh... not my car. haha.

I was told to post more pics of my build in here by someone... but not many pics have the BRG where you can tell it's a BRG

    Here's a few:

Hope to get some progress made soon since the weather is getting better...

Thanks for sharing the BRG love! I can't wait to see how your build comes together. I am amazed at how much detail you are putting into it (soooo many pinch welds).

    -Cheers,

    Jim
