    Thank you very much!!
I've got a lot less horsepower - luckily they are Japanese horses - usually in better shape and more motivated.

So I picked up a Garage Vary carbon fiber extraction hood over the weekend. Here's a little teaser for now, it needs some repair (removing hood pins/holes and fixing a small cutout in the vent area) and a repaint to black:

So I was parked next to a buddy of mine, I typically park away from the general population and so we were out there by ourselves. He was leaving his parking spot and had to cut his turn sharply to avoid another driver who was not driving responsibly through the parking lot. But in focusing on them he forgot my car was there...

    Before:

    After:

The fender took the brunt of the impact, as well as the hood. The headlight, bumper, and sideskirt escaped unscathed, although it did crack some paint on the bumper. The core support running over the headlight is a little bent as well.

The insurance adjuster looked at it today, just waiting on their paperwork so I can drop it off at the body shop. Again.

Oh man, sorry about that, I got popped on the right rear fender, also while parked in a lot about 2 weeks after getting back from Palooza, some folks just can't drive on or off the streets.

It's actually in the shop currently, it should be done pretty soon too. The only person I trust to touch this car paint-wise is the owner of the shop and he was unavailable to work on it until July 5th. So he's had it since then and I told him to take his time with it, he knows how OCD I am about it so it should come out looking great! It got a brand new OE hood & fender and the whole front bumper is getting repainted too.
