At first, I was not a fan of the Morette tail lights. But now seeing them on your car, holy shit they are awesome.

Looking good! Glad you got it back!
Small update, last weekend I installed an MSM/BP5A intake cam, no crazy amounts of added power to report but mid-range power has improved as well as a bit more on the top end. Passing is a little more peppy now. Only shot I have of the work is the missing stock intake cam:

I also finally got around to powdercoating my tow hooks:

And just a quick shot of my car at work parked next to a friend's car, he just started working at the same facility:

Next I'll be getting around to cutting open the front of my valve cover, powdercoating it, and installing a set of Toda adjustable cam gears. Going to try to make being naturally aspirated as fun as possible.
I've got a lot less horsepower - luckily they are Japanese horses - usually in better shape and more motivated.
Oops, I haven't updated this in 4 months. Not that I've really done anything to the car at all except drive it.
Anyway, it's almost time for emissions and last year I had an issue with two stations not being able to see the CEL in the KG Works cluster, it was dim and not easily visible. Decided I didn't want to have to deal with that again this year and I haven't been pleased with the light output from behind the Revlimiter gauges (this is no fault of Adam's work whatsoever!, the bulbs were just old), so I bought some LED bulbs from V-LEDS and swapped things out today.
This is what I started with, this is turned all the way up. They are a bit brighter to the eye and especially at night, but still pretty dismal overall:
Notice the very dim CEL over to the right above the temp gauge:
Comparison of the incandescent bulb and the surface mount 3-LED bulb (the main bulbs are 5-LED bulbs, just didn't take a picture of them):
Incandescent on the left, LED on the right:
Same again left and right. There's some light spill from behind the needle which accents the rings on the KG Works cluster, which is pretty neat looking IMO:
Both sides done (the 2 in 20 isn't dim, the Revlight got in the way):
All of the indicators are definitely brighter as well:
And in the evening light the lighting is still very visible:
Overall, much improved.

Looks way better with LED'S !
Which reminds me, I don't think I ever upgraded my bulbs to LED's on mine....even though I have some from my gauge testing days.

Dude, I'm so envious! Positively meticulous attention to detail, very, very clean! I can only aspire to get mine looking half as nice! Keep the posts coming!

I finally got an Enthuza XR Lightweight muffler which I've wanted for a while. Excuse the filthy car pictured below, the weather here has been terrible lately.
The car had a Cobalt muffler, which sounded great with a nice deep tone and just slightly louder than stock, but it just wasn't very aggressive. This muffler is the other side of the coin for sure, but I like it.

Wow! Thanks for posting. I hadn't visited your build thread before. I really like what you have done. That nose really sets this car apart in my opinion.
Thanks for the compliments!

I was thinking about the timing belt job that I'm going to have to do soon and when I got home I saw the stripped valve cover I've had. Suddenly I decided I wanted to have exposed cam gears so I pulled out the cutoff wheel, eyeballed what I wanted, and cut:
Originally I was going to do a two-stage powdercoat on this cover, the result would be a translucent dark red/black, but now I'm not sure what I want to do. Need to figure it out soon I suppose.
