    Mariner Blue NA (Daily driven)

sorry im very late on this i barely decided to make a build thread now.

first things first I LOVE BLUE BLUE BLUEEEEE

I grew up racing since i was 5 my dad used to race clubs with his 72 rx3 I believe. Willow Springs, Button Willow, Laguna seca etc.

I kept my own budget at 3 grand.
Since I grew up around Mazdas I felt that a Miata would be the perfect match. Rx7s were unreliable, and as a first car it might not be the smartest choice.
E30s which was my first choice did not quite carry on, it was just a hype phase. I did finally settle with the Miata.

I came across this 1992 Mariner with a stunning 89500 miles.
MARINER BLUE miatas are pretty rare in LA craigslist in my opinion

Build started late October of 2011
The only flaws were the vert top, window was definitely shot and the front bumper previous owner told us someone backed into him.

My dad found a hardtop from a 99 nb nardi edition dark green was a salvaged car.

I first wanted to start off with necessities tires, top, engine oil, etc.

Since we got it, tires were shot so around the same month I got the hardtop I found a guy on craigslist.
Me and my dad were like might as well look into getting new rims since we didnt want to buy a first set of
new tires for the stock daisies and later on buy a new set of rims and buy another set of tires.

The guy on craigslist was selling a set of Rota RB 15x7 offset 35.
Dad knocked it down to 250 if I remember correctly so about 530 with tires mounted.

    gorilla lugnuts for saftey

so happy how it turned out and such a steal for the price

My taillights were leaking! common problem for the age.

Tried to reseal with better used seals and on the way my rear license plate panel was cracked in pieces so i glued the back

Good start! Also been thinking of doing a model of my car. Easiest way to tell if certain mods will look good ;)
