Since this panel didn't come with lights had to make some alternatives, still looking for tail lamps.

Currently playing with 4 in led trailer light that I got from work. This is just an option for my ladies gv panel. I personally like the all red lense as well as a led light source.

Current budget into this project is about $240 trying to do it as cheap as possible

Below i had no mounting points for the tailight so I drilled into the housing and inserted rivnuts

But wait, trailer lights are an independent power source meaning its signal lights are the same power source as a the stop/ tails.

    Easy, trailer light converter unit

So after a trailer light unit is installed it converts the miatas 5 wire into 3 wires.

I will say that LED light output will probably be better than the incandescent of the Porter Cab lights. I've noticed the Porter Cab lights aren't particularly bright, especially in daylight, when they can be difficult to see illuminate.

I admit that I get concerned from time to time sitting at a stop light wondering if the people coming up behind me are paying attention enough to not only see a small car is stopped, but that it's brake lights are on. I sometimes tap the brakes a few times to flash them at whoever is coming up behind me to get their attention.

Light output is definitely way brighter when comparing to a friends authentic porter cab lights. Just by looking at the led lights at stop position is ridiculously bright. Enough to get people's attention I'd say aha.

Total budget stayed under $250 using all the resources I have helped big time.

Now just have to find some time to install everything and fix some fitment issues PO told me about
