idk if i'm in the right thread here, but does anyone have experience with OBX headers? I hear they are prone to cracking

^^Whoa, is that so? Wrong thread likely since this is on aftermarket exhaust

I do have a brand new OBX header sitting around till I find time to install it. Replacing my Maxim Works one while I try to re-condition the terrible surface.

Back to topic, I am running a Larini exhaust and it is marvelous. Not too loud nor too bassy and it gurgles and crackles when pushed, lovely!

    so... obx isn't aftermarket?

or headers aren't part of the exhaust?

orrr....... this isn't a place to discuss user-experiences?

    thanks for the clarification. -.-

last time I checked headers are part of your exhaust system.

Finally got a shot of my Larini:

Also picture of the OBX I just installed earlier. Already turning a nice hue of gold + blue:

Went in without a hitch and installation was a breeze. Pretty nice welds for the price.

anyone ever heard of K-1 Racing? I've seen a few of these on the yahoo japan auction site. I tried to do a google search on them but couldn't find anything. They look well made, but didn't know if they were a replica of another manufacturer.

well, if anyone was wondering, here is what Rod said about K-1 Racing

"K-1 is a pretty new start up here in Japan and i have only seen them in Hyper rev and Roadster Bros. the exhaust is made in Japan"

here's a sound clip he provided as well

can't await to mount it. will be mounted with the 4-2-1 JR header and a new 200 cells metalcat.
Be sure to post vids! I have JR header and I was looking at a corksport as well.

I believe it's Corn*s,So i've been told,Not sure myself,No branding on it,Got it in a load of Mazda parts from Japan ,Along with the Maxum Headers,Beautifully made,Butt welds at the muffler end and sounds great,Loud without being noisy, fairly subdude at speed ...until you put the boot up it.
2.5" all the way with built in Cat.
Also have a St Mays system ,no longer wanted and Racing Beat made by RS*R Japan, also no longer needed
