God news! Engine held together! Bad news, I have some chassis tuning to do.

Chassis tuning is the one thing that we never escape.

But for Sawyer's shot, you lost your D1 match-up and too little smoke.

NA6CE 1992 Form vs Function Build and History

I'm still slow, but there were so many new components in the car, I overlooked how much changed. I drove a lot easier on the engine than normal just to be sure it was OK. The new suspension is wonderful and I was making adjustments throughout the day. The tires are cycled out, pretty sure.

I think some balancing and minor tweaks will be in order over the next few months, probably new tires, other stuff.

The new seat is wonderful. I would like to get a QR hub, maybe a spacer so I can bring the wheel closer to me. I need a little more room between my thighs and the wheel. Heel-toe is a bit more of a challenge because of this.

I should be able to get the MSPnP in. I was lead-following a guy in a similarly equipped LE, he said my engine was a lot stronger than his because I walked away from him on the uphill sections, sooo that's a positive!

Right now, I'm just happy to push beyond the engine woes.

Turning it into a .gif killed the quality but it is still cool!

KFJ, after reading your comments on moving the wheel closer and having difficulty with heel and toe...I was wondering how tall are you?

I'm 6'. My inseam is 32", size 11.5-12 shoe. I have the OMP Grip seat on Garage Star mounts. It sits lower than my Lotus seats, but the offset is more noticeable, albeit a non-factor. I hit the tops of my legs with my knuckles, above the knees, if I don't shuffle steer on deeper turns. I think if I could bring it forward ~1-2", it would be beneficial.

I have a techno toy tuning 75mm spacer and I love it. Sorry about the dust!

(I've repainted the hub since this pic was taken)

I have similar issues and I definitely need a lower seat to drop me down a bit. If I could find a way to heel-toe properly that would be beneficial as well! I end up kicking wires and stuff when I attempt to do it!

My size 12s have the same wire kicking issue when I try to heel-toe.

I'm 6'2'' with a size 13 shoe. Between my knees hitting the dash, my head hitting the soft top, and kicking wires when I attempt to heel-toe, things get interesting while driving the car on track!

The new seat drops me about an inch lower +\- than my Lotus seats and I feel safer using the 6 point belts. The only way I can go lower is to remove the rear humps the seat bolts to...and I'm thinking of doing that. I think dropping my hips down while increasing the popliteal angle will be nice.
