Fireball Run Adventurally---Northern Exposure

OK folks...here is one that you do not see happening very often. the Fireball Run--Northern Exposure is coming to a town near you. and yours truly and partner, Meierznutz, aka Chris Meier, are going to be participating in a very big way. We are in it!! What is the Fireball Run? An 8 day, 7 night 2400 mile adventure that is run in a different part of the country every year to raise awareness and help to find America's Missing Children. This event has been instrumental in helping to find 38 missing kids over the last 5 years.

Why am i posting this here?...because we are doing it in Nadine...an LS1 powered '91 Miata.

Where in the Northeast is this going?...From Independence, OH to Jamestown NY to Wellsborough, PA to Watertown NY to Schenectedy NY to Waterbury, CT (our hometown) to Ocunquit ME to Bangor ME. Lots of ground to cover and lots of Miatas owners out there that could come out and support this event and us.

Hit the road yesterday..stayed over in State Cokllege,PA last night..Nadine ran flawlessly and rides like a Caddy!...stay tuned for more as thing go along..should be in Independence,OH about 2 30 this afternoon...Doubletree Inn is the headquarters of the Fireball Run..

What are you up to in Independence, anything? I'm 30 minutes from there.

I'm familiar with the NUTMEG folks. I see quite a few at Lime Rock each year... even tho I only know like 3 of them.

Someone relatively close!...we are at the Doubletree Inn in Independence..arrived yesterday...official team check in on Saturday at something called Fall Fest..really big deal near or at convention center in Independence...Zelig road..runs most of the day..I posted similar info in the Midwest section in the Ohio thread...Elmwood Park is the name of the place?...I have a couple of small Nutmeg items waiting for you if you make it and meet up with us

Well...we are in Wellsboro,PA...headed out in am to Watertown,ny..it has been a ver interesting 2days so far..people in all of these towns have been absolutely wonderful.
