It sounds like its up high. I know the feet are secured really good.
You have a rollbar? I bet it's rubbing the main hoop if you do. Mine did it too, it clearances itself. I took my top off occasionally to check on it, no structural damage or cracking. I cleaned the built up debris off the bar. I thought about slipping some cloth or material in there, but it just rubbed enough of the top away and stopped squeaking. You can also test the clearance with a slip of paper or thin feeler gauges.

So I checked it in the parking lot at work today. No rubbing. So I listened a little more and it almost sounds like the windshield itself. Not sure. Would like to get someone else to take a listen. Maybe at the next meet.
Yeah take another Miata owner for a drive. High and up front, it could be the top rubbing on the weatherstripping, or the latch rattling.

So big purchase time. I was in need of some storage space so I found one of these.
Nakamae Pouch (I think)
Just velcros between the seats on the carpet and holds whatever I decide to put in there.
Then this happened.
See what happens when you hang out with Rick (NCGreasemonkey).
Just kidding. Rick was great to meet in person. He bought my WideOpens because I didn't need them anymore. Why don't I need them anymore, you ask?
Because this:
Custom powdercoated Enkei RPF1 15x8 +28 in Gold. Ly at Pann Auto gave me a helluva deal on them and they turned out great! He is seriously easy to deal with and I HIGHLY recommend him for wheels and other items.
Here is a picture of them on.
The gold is a little more orange but I love the way they turned out. I will try and get better pictures when I get some time. Rick's guy, Gilberto, did a great job of mounting and balancing them. Ride was smooth going home and I swear I can feel the difference in ride and pickup. Car accelerated easier in 5th.

They looked good in the shop and as you came down the hill Anthony. Glad you are happy with the job Gilberto does on customs.
He is the guy I lean on.
I'll do your head gasket and other major repairs. He is OCD on tire and wheel aspects. Glad you were pleased.
If you get your replacement suspention, or want your current reset, let me give Sri a call and see what he will do us a set for. ;-)
Peace and glad I got to shake hands with you. (now tell AO that I was a true ass to deal with and you want to hire a hitman for 'Palooza just for my arrival.) LOL
So I went to the local Cars and Coffee. Beautiful day. Same cars as always. Will probably hit up Charlotte and Greensboro for their Cars and Coffee. Maybe even the Goldsboro one again.
Pictures really don't do the wheel color justice.
Also was able to get rid of the stupid water spot stains on the side mirrors. Actually, it was really easy to get rid of it. Griots Glass Polish killed it.

New update.
So I finally picked up some more parts for the NB after being neglected.
Care package from Carbon Miata:
What could it be?
Vented Sail Windows.
Installing them was a pain in the ass. The first one was a pain especially in the heat of my garage. At least after the first one was done, the other side was a breeze. But I hate the black tar on the vapor barrier. Stuff sucks ass.
First impressions: Very good fitment. Not heavy at all. I didn't take any pictures during installation as I was trying to finish it up to go back inside the house with the AC.
Installed:
So I was able to take it out for a quick spin before the Heavens opened up and dropped another Tsunami on the RTP. Both open and doing about 45mph, it did give a bit of air inside. Nothing major. But crack open both windows just an inch, you felt like you were in a wind tunnel. Seriously awesome. It was evening when I went out for a ride so I did get a cooler evening air. Not sure how it feels when it is super hot out. But overall, I am extremely pleased with the results! Great product and one of our sponsors!
I also have a Works Bell Hub coming so I am looking for a steering wheel to complement the car. Will get pics up when it arrives.

So I picked up a Works Bell Hub for a really good price and I ordered it. I have been trying to look for a steering wheel that I would like and I thought, I still have my old GT Grant wood wheel, why not give it a shot? I was able to find an adapter for a Grant to Momo hub. I installed it in no time because the Works Bell Hub is awesome and comes with everything needed to install it. When I finally got it on and drove with it, I wasn't impressed. I was very disappointed so I put the stock wheel back on. Not sure what I am going to do but it isn't going to be a wood steering wheel. I will hold onto the hub unless someone was looking for one. But here are the pics.
Here is the hub with the adapter installed:
And the final product:

That one is nice but not really feeling it. I was looking at Nardi wheels but I am taking my time and making sure it is the one I really want.

I hear ya. You're going to be touching and seeing it every time you drive the car. Gotta get it right.
At least the upside of a quality hub is the ease of swapping steering wheels. Been thinking of trying something different myself.

Yeah man. I have been looking for the past couple of weeks and it just gives me a headache. So I will put it on the backburner for now.
On a different note, I did leave the vent windows open during a downpour. By accident of course. I was cutting the grass and just as I finished up, the sky decided to take a piss. I had to run to get the car back into the garage. That was fun.
So these came in. Package from Goodwin.
Will be getting these installed maybe within the next couple of months. Pads and rotors will be after that. Not exciting but it's getting ready for spring.
