    I looking to buy one and what is one worth used? has controller and gauge. thanks.

    ~$100-$125.

    Any more and you may as well just buy a new MTX-L, which is a better unit anyways.

    100ish bucks..

    there are lots of cool widebands, and others that have multiple gauges included in them.
    One of my buddies out here just bought this one, wasn't that expensive new, and it's been treating him well so far.

    Is the MTX-L the same as the LC-1 but built into one unit altogether?

    The PLX is very neat but not up my ally.

    Completely different unit. Superior in pretty much every way, not the least of in the area of "ease of install."

    The LC1 is a dinosaur. It was good in 2005. Not so good today.

    Also consider: PLX M300, Zeitronix ZT-3, NGK AFX, SLC Pure Plus.
