On the the street/canyons with my 595rsr's its eh, its not optimal. But with NT01's on tracks, It makes you want to circle jerk.

installed some Racelands a couple days ago. they're only for the time being until i save up and get some better coilovers.
does anyone know why they're squeaking though, and possible fix? i think it's the bumpstop thing. i notice it over some small bumps, and going in/out of my driveway. no rattles. no steering issues. seems all good except for when it squeaks; kind of annoying.
I'd be willing to bet it is just the lower bushings
did you get them new or used ?
used might require replacement bushings
if they are in good shape or new you might fix it by simply
loosening the thru bolt, wiggle shock around and retighten
also a shot of silicone lubrication might help (no WD40)

i actually got them used. but they're pretty new. the threads were clean, no damage. the guy i bought it from claimed he only had like 300mi on them. you think Shin-Etsu grease would work there? lol i have some still from when i was lubricating my windows.
OK so you are good with the visual inspection of the bushing, good...
I am not familiar with Shin-Etsu, but if it is silicone based it should be safe
my point mainly is maybe the rubber is 'tweaked' and maybe moving it will
cure your annoying squeak. Did you tighten the thru bolts with car jacked up (wheels hanging)
if so try loosening them, then put vehicle weight on and re-tighten them.
just a thought, and it is easy and free
I have even loosened them, jack car up, then abruptly released the jack so to make the car bounce
then re-tighten (sometimes it worked-sometimes it didn't)

yeah i tightened them while the car was lifted. yeah i guess i'll try to get the car up and fiddle with it some more when i'm not lazy and when it's not raining lol. though i don't wanna "drop" my car and let it bounce. as crappy as these coilovers are, i'm kinda scared that it will bottom out.
