    Kulluminati777's Mazdaspeed A-Spec touring kit

I have been really hesitant to start a work log because im not too much of a mechanic. So this is going to be a gallery/worklog to show you guys why i have dubbed my baby as the "Unofficial" mazdaspeed mx-3.The funny thing about the mx3 is that i bought it for my wife and it is her car ( I own a 1993 MX-6) but i am always adding new stuff and trying to keep it tip top as if it was mine lmfao and i believe its a great car with tons of potential. I dont know if im the 2nd. 3rd, 4th, owner or any history on the car. After me and my wife had got engaged 2 years ago i wanted to get her a car so we looked at a few. something small yet nice was what she was looking for and me already being a mazda man i suggested the mx-5.

She had told me it was nice but way to small for her taste. so i did my research and found about the mx-3...I NEVER even noticed or heard of these cars at all before i had looked around Mazda's repertoire. I instantly fell in love and started to search an online used car service. I found this black 1993 GS about 200kms from where we were stationed and it was American specs (I'm in Germany) so we went out to see the car and the body and interior were in ok shape the engine looked like ass lol. but we bought it for 900 euro (about $1200) and that is that.

got a few things done to the engine before we get it in. Cleaned the crap out of the outside so its "blingin". The normal water pump/timing belt replacement. I have found out there is a few tiny little things I need like a egr block off plate from king6, exhaust gaskets, and ZE type spark plugs and I decided against putting on the UD pulley. I was reading around and unless your serious about 1 or 2 Hp its a long term hassle I.E. alternators going bad sooner, and somewhere I read the guy had a really hard time getting the UD pulley off after a few years and said he wasn't the first........... Ill also go to the DMV tomorrow and get some temp tags so I can get rid off these shipping plates I have been driving around on....

So I got he ZE swap done a few days ago but on the way back the KLZE overheated and now I believe the head gaskets are gone.....I have a local friend helping me out with what actually happened and if the KLZE is even salvagable...

While the car has been down I put on a different rear lip and debadged the rear and added "mazdaspeed" decals to the wing to give the car a true brochure look

On the way from washington I took this pic and thought it was epic!!

Last footage of the crusty old K8

    Engine fairy's have struck!!!

The new KLZE all in.....This engine was made for this car

It was soo fun to drive but the car is non op now I hope I can get it fixed soon

While the car has been just sitting I redid my rear lip with a different design and fit it a little better than my old crappy lip lol and in these pics you can see my rear debadged. I only left my "tuned by mazdaspeed" badge
