BTW, for any of you brave enough, REV9's site has this wheel listed new (I think) for $170 despite it being $320 normally. I paid $170 and it was brand new sealed in the box. I needed a leather wheel and this one seemed liked the best deal. I bought it for the functionality but also the added WTF. I still chuckle at how it looks like a speed boat tiller. It is so bad to look at in pictures, and also at stoplights, but while driving, it feels like all the other great Nardi products.

I wonder how hard it would be to re-dye the leather black? I've been browsing used wheels since I don't want to break the bank. But $170+some dye for a new Nardi would sure be nice

I swapped my other wheels back on for Sunday's cruise. My new (to me) wheels and tires just so happen to not be balanced. Sad.

I wondered if that might be the case but mine had more than a little. Haven't had a chance to drive it yet so don't know if I helped or hurt it. Does anyone know if there is an acceptable limit?

Drove the snot out of mine this morning on the way to work... NOT! Nothing like stop and go traffic in office clothes and no A/C! I loved every minute of it when it was clear though.

I started the center console delete/winter 2014 interior minimalist/upgrade project last night.

The mrpham (omgpham.com) center console delete kit and the Garage Star minimalist console carpet are on the way. Last night I removed the center console in preparation for installing these items.

Also just ordered some revlimiter polished vent rings to go with the side sill plates from rev to add some class and shine to the interior.

Now I have to order a shifter rebuild kit. The 25 year old shifts boots are destroyed. Debating about just ordering the whole short shifter rebuild kit from MiataRoadster.

My crooked ziptied front plate was scuffing up the new paint, so i ordered a tow hook bracket from GarageStar. Problem solved. Awesome service and fast shipping! Ordered it Sunday, got it today.

Installed my Flying Miata strut bar. Ordered it at Monterey and came in today. Knocked out the 30mph shimmy, dampened most of the cowl shake and 60mph is much smoother.
