Well... I started this thread about 2 years ago, and I'm just finally getting to the point where I'm comfortable posting my progress!

Still need to re-install the GV lip, then its time to begin the interior, starting with door cards (and cleaning all the dust from paint over the winter.)

Need to decide - meatball or rocker stripes? Since I autoX, a meatball and magnetic numbers for when I'm racing seems like the way to go.
I also have 2 sets of TRM C1s. I'll likely dip one of them vintage gold, although the look of the wheels isn't quite "vintage." Kind of wish I would have bought the set of 14x7 panasports I was looking at a few years back.

And then - I went to my first Cars and Coffee today. The miata isn't nearly finished (are they ever?) and there's still a lot to be done. A few hours later, I hopped on facebook and saw that someone had snagged a shot of my car and posted it!

2012: Purchased Miata, Laid off 3 days later. 4th place overall (default!), NWOR SCCA (RTR)
2013: Budget RTR build, massive increase in participation, 3rd place overall, NWOR SCCA (RTR)
2014: Suspension and more active competition in STS. 3rd place overall, NWOR SCCA
2015: Time for some "form" and vintage styling (while still racing NWOR, of course).

Lovely looking Miata dude! I was very close to going down a similar route and having the windscreen/shield frame wrapped in black vinyl and then buying a black hard top as I like that classic look and it really suits the car. But then I seen the rallyways Miata and I settled on the full red look. I love the Enkwi RPF1's that the Rallyways car sits on but they are very expensive in the UK so went for a classic original 14" minilite from the company that produce wheels for old british classics and caterhams etc.

Finally got around test fitting some retro inspired part I've had

    Zoom winkers

Oh yeah this bumper, found some time to paint this thing, wasnt to happy with fitment out the box so alot of prep and trimming was done for better fitment, My car is accident free and using oem panels aswell so had high hopes on fitment

Interior needs some more attention, swapped out my nardi for a Verona Victoria wheel, Needle caps are waiting to be installed just need to pay Revlimiter a visit and order Faces and switches

That looks good Vee. Fair play on importing that.

My photos are a little messy and the silver hard top is not for my black roadster but another roadster but used the black roadster last night to collect it. I took them as think the silver hard top on a black roadster works ok.

VEE that looks nice, a few of us were talking recently about how bad the S2 fitment looked in their pictures. Madaboutmx5s, I just just considering selling my MKIII's, not anymore.

Corifto: Love the car, and great vanity tag! My BRG has similar changes coming, mostly sitting in boxes in the garage for when I ever find time to wrench. It's inspiring to see someone actually making progress.
