This week I got to take my PitCrew Racing Mx-5 for it's first real drive.
Finished assembling my new Roadster early this year but didn't get a chance to use it as the Council dug up my street. The car's first time out on show was mid August at the all Japanese Car & Bike Show in Hobart, Tasmania.
Monday morning I left Hobart at five and drove to Ross, where I snapped these pictures and headed for the coast. Down Elephant Pass and on to St Helens, Scottsdale and Launceston. About 400km/250m. The car ran great, but the amazing thing was that there was no other traffic going my way. I wasn't slowed up all trip, and sat behind other cars for only about ten minutes, all morning. A totally dream drive in my new custom car, to drop it at the NAMT museum. They're having a Japanese feature, and it's on display there for three months.
