Just like all things bound to wear and tear, the door cards had to be replaced. For some (or most of us here would agree) like me this is a chance of course to embark on a new project

mounting under plates were fabricated from scratch (and from stainless steel 3mm thick) considering that roll cage had none when I bought it from a surplus shop

originally colored black, powder coated it in red.

so elated with the fitment since I did not have to modify my speakers mounted on the A-pillar

A/C vent also on either side very functional compared to other roll cages I've seen where the bar is so close to the vent, it literally covers the opening

I know and have read how people doubt the integrity of the safety21/cusco roll cages, but for me I installed this not for the uneventful roll over (fingers crossed) but more of the rigidity and stiffness of the chassis

surprisingly this roll cage is NOT heavy as it may look. no actual numbers but before installation car weighs in about 1,040 kg. with all the weight savings (CF stuff installed) and the hard dog hard bar.

will put in actual weight numbers soon.
