No worries, I'll probably just hold on to them for a little while cuz I'm having a helluva time finding a box to ship em.

You wouldn't even need to ship them for me. We could meet in Charlotte again.

Holy crap I haven't updated this in a while. So, a few things happened since May.

ChrisJuliano and blu92 came down from PA en route to MATG.

Bought brushed aluminum Sharka vent rings while at MATG.

Also picked up some old E30 wheels… with mismatching tires

On New Year's Eve, my alternator decided to die on me. So I replaced that…

Also recovered my door cards and added new pulls.

I got tired of the BBS wheels sooner than expected and ordered Rota RKR 15x9 et0. They were listed as Matte Black, but I was pleasantly surprised to see they were what I call "Watanabe Grey".

    Money shot.

And suddenly 3 weeks later, my alternator is dead again… replaced it along with the alt and power steering (I think?) belt. Car is up and running again. Now, the thread takes a slight detour… the build will still be simple, just a little more aggressive. Carbon Miata fender flares!

    Dat wheel gap

I don't know at this point when I'll get to installing them, but I'm thinking within the next couple months. Work schedule is just a little crazy lately.

The lotus seats should also be gone soon to be replaced with something more subtle. Also, I'm selling the BBS wheels if any MR members want first dibs.

Thanks, pnoy! I'm working to match the stock red to vinyl swatches we have at work. I figure since I'll be doing a partial wrap that there's no sense in painting the flares just yet. More updates to come soon!

That's going to look awesome. The white flares match the roundels surprisingly well. Almost has a Japanese battle flag appearance with the tape on it.

Thanks! Haha I can sorta see it.

The lotus seats are gone, but will still be seen on this forum I ordered my replacement driver's seat the other day, and I should be ordering tires this week. That being said, I'm hoping to at least get the flares mounted in the next month.
