V8 is good enough for Jackie Chan, it's good enough for me!

Can you give us any hints of your plans for the RX-8?

The RX8 will be different than any of the current offerings. Not many details to release yet the kits will go into production around the end of the year.

Do these kits allow you to keep AC? The RX8 kit is very intriguing. The rotary was one of the reasons that I hadn't made the purchase for one but an LS in there would almost make this a done deal.

End of the year . . . as in like a month? This is definitely something that interests me. I'll be looking forward to your progress.

Same here, all you ever read about is horror stories of the Rotary engine.

I still want to do this swap to a Miata 1st though LOL

This would satisfy my need for a 4 seater RWD sportier car. I always liked the looks of the RX8 but needed reliability. I just need AC for the hot summer months. And the early year RX8s are cheap, all I would have to do is find one that has a blown motor which apparently isn't that difficult to do.

Good luck finding a good mechanic to work on them, unless you live in Florida or Cali, they are still popular here

I found a pretty good discussion on the RX-8 V8 conversion at Grassroots Motorsports Magazine here: http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/for...8/46091/page1/

The sister publication, Classic Motorsports Magazine, will have a review of a Flyin' Miata (which uses V8 Roadster's offerings) NC MX-5 in their upcomming January issue:

I just signed up for the Free Test Drive (of the magazine): https://secure.ablesoftsolutions.com...BFT&ref=cWEBFT
I've been meaning to sign up for a subscription for awhile. I don't know what took me so long.
