2,000 rpm - light wheelspin, no bog here!
So, yesterday... back to work. At the beginning of the day, it was decided that the engine was gonna be pulled. This is something I've never done before, I'm not much of a mechanic, but Kyle L said it'd be easy as he's had his car down to a shell and reassembled it... so OK was my answer. Pulled into his garage and set to work on removing everything that needed to go, drained fluids, etc.
Started by removing the header I fitted the day prior

Drained the coolant and took out the radiator.

Uninstalled all of my AC... not keeping it

Drained the clutch fluid and disconnected the hoses up by the firewall, drained the power steering and detached the hoses...
Removed the PPF bolts and un-hooked the exhaust to slide out the driveshaft, unplugged about a million plugs and wiring harnesses and pulled the heater core hoses... but at the end of the day (around 2am) the engine/tranny combo simply wouldn't come out.

I believe the oil pan isn't getting high enough to clear the subframe, the tranny is pressing against the tunnel but the oil pan is still not high enough to get over the subframe to come forward and outta the bay.
Tonight I'm going to reassemble the driveshaft, PPF and tranny as well as re-attach the speedometer cable, reverse/neutral safety switch plugs etc and just detach the tranny from the engine and try to pull it without pulling the transmission along with it...

after days of waiting, a clutch kit, intake mani gasket, some new fuel injectors, custom bending/cutting on my EGR and a handful of frustrating hours of shimmying my motor around to get the motor mounts all lined up, the engine and tranny are finally back in my car...
The pics look exactly the same as before it came out, so meh...
I gotta re-connect the million and one wiring harnesses and fill her with fluids still... more to come soon

awesome, so I've finished installing everything I have at my disposal except for my new top.
after a few weeks of work, the engine is reassembled, everything is plugged in and ready to go. I installed the supercharger and cut the crossover pipe to fit in a BOV, hooked up all the necessary vacuum hoses -thanks to cjsafski's advice and direction- to mimic his old setup. I also rearranged a bunch of wires, harnesses and my coolant reservoir to clean things up a bit. It's not much of a "tuck", but it looks noticeably cleaner to me and I like how it turned out.
The car won't start, I believe it's not getting spark. I made sure the fuel pump was working and all the vacuum hoses are secured, the plugs are all plugged in. the powercard is simply "piggybacked" onto the fuel injection system, so it's not like i disconnected anything i shouldn't have... hmm... idk. I'm thinking it's either the CAS or the ignition CoilPack...
Here is a picture montag of some of the progress, I wish I had covered more of the work and the ambition to work it into a story of a "build", but I'm just glad it's done and outta the way

test fitting the tube

bumper off for re-wiring

hehe, I think it should be fine. I've had stick-out wheels on several vehicles - a delSol, an escort wagon, a mystique and now this, never any problems

If you don't go fast and have a SUPER high spring rate I could see that, but your fenders are legitimately in the middle of your car.
Regardless I am enjoying your SC, what you running for EMS?

it came with the PowerCard - which i hear is mediocre and perhaps I'll bite it and buy a MS somewhere down the line...
though, I just wish my car would start so I could see for myself... lol
